Major Peewees Drop Series Opener Against London

The Lambton Jr Sting Major Peewees lost their season opener 4-1 in London last night.

The Major Peewees got by Sun County in four games in their first round series.

London won all four games of the season series, as the Jr Sting finished with a record of 25-30-5.

The hockey club will have a chance to even things up at home Thursday night. They host the Jr Knights for a 6:30 puck drop at Progressive Auto Sales Arena (Rink Two).

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
