High School Baseball Begins Monday

It's opening day for the LKSSAA baseball season, as the schedule gets underway Monday afternoon.

Great Lakes will play a double header against Pain Court (2:30pm) and Ridgetown (4:40pm) at Fergie Jenkins Field in Chatham. St. Francois Xavier hosts LCCVI at 3pm.

Several games in senior girls soccer Monday afternoon. Lambton-Kent is at Pain Court (3:30pm), Great Lakes hosts Chatham-Kent (4pm), Northern travels to Ursuline College (4:30pm) and LCCVI welcomes John McGregor (5pm).

In senior boys soccer, Northern is at Ursuline College (3pm) and LCCVI is home to John Mcgregor (3:30pm)

Senior boys rugby has St. Pat's hosting Northern (4pm), the Irish host LCCVI (3:30pm) in junior boys rugby.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
