Strong Start To National Championship For Local Golfer

Camlachie's David French is tied for eighth through the opening two rounds of the Canadian University/College Championship.

The fifth year University of Waterloo student shot a second round 76, to sit at plus-6 through two days at the National Championship.

French is scheduled to begin his third round from the Tangle Creek Gold and Country Club in Thornton, Ontario at 2:03pm Wednesday afternoon.

Sarnia's Adam Graham, who attends Brock University, sits at plus-18 through two rounds. Graham is set to tee off at 3:31pm Wednesday afternoon.

The final round will be played Thursday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
