Imperials Recognize Players During Awards Banquet

The Sarnia Imperials handed out their awards during a team banquet Saturday evening.

The Imperials finished 5-3 during the regular season, and lost to the GTA All-Stars in the NFC semifinals. It was the All-Stars fourth straight title.

The team also gave our ten year service watches to those who have been with the organization for a decade, including Adam MacKinnon, Matthew Goulais, Michael Fioroni, and Head Coach Jake Cherski.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
