Local Team Wins Big At Ford Field

The Sarnia Razorclaws showed the 65,000 fans at Ford Field Sunday that Canadians can do more than just play hockey.

The Sarnia Minor Athletic Association team beat the Michigan-based South Christian 56ers 12-6 during half time of the Detroit Lions game against the Atlanta Falcons.

It's the second year the team got to play during half time of a Lions' home game, and are now 2-0 at Ford Field after winning their scrimmage last year as well. Last year's victory was a 20-0 triumph over another team from Michigan.

The Lions should of taken a page from the Razorclaws playbook, as Detroit ended up losing the game 30-26.
