Legionnaires Sign Two Goalies

The Sarnia Legionnaires have signed two netminders for the upcoming GOJHL season.

Sarnia-native Jakob Knowles played in 23 games for the Petrolia Flyers last season. The 18-year-old posted a 3.19 goals against average and a .909 save percentage.

Nolan Dekoning was with the Lambton AAA midgets last year. The 17-year-old Wallaceburg-native played one game for the Legionnaires last season.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
