SGCC Senior Invitational Held Thursday

The Sarnia Golf & Curling Club held its Senior Invitational on Thursday.

116 Golfers participated from all across southern Ontario and eastern Michigan.

The overall low gross champion is Jim Morton from Forest City in London with a 2-under par round of 70.

The overall low net champion is Bryan Barnes of Sarnia Golf and Curling Club with a net-score of 67.

The following players are the low gross winners of each flight (grouped by age):

  • 50 – 54 Flight Bruce Day Trophy- Paul Landers from The Oaks in London. 73
  • 55 – 59 Flight Con Cote Trophy- John Saffran of Pointe West Golf Club in Amherstburg. 71
  • 60 – 64 Flight Fred Kumchy Trophy- Gerard Denomme of GAO. 72
  • 65 – 69 Flight Hank Galloway Trophy- Rod Dench of GAO. 71
  • 70 – 74 Flight Charlie Bending Trophy- John Herbert of Sunningdale in London. 79
  • 75 & Over Flight Andy Allen Trophy- George Beeman of Shephard’s Hollow. 78
