Sting staff to coach in Canada-Russia Series

The Sarnia Sting coaching staff will be behind the bench when international hockey returns to Progressive Auto Sales Arena next month.

Head coach Derian Hatcher, alongside his assistants David Legwand and Brad Staubitz, will lead Team OHL against Team Russia in game three of the six-game Canada-Russia series November 8.

It will be the fourth time Sarnia has hosted a game, with a 4-0 win for Team OHL in 2003, a 5-0 OHL win in 2006 and a 2-1 OHL victory in 2012.

The series begins in Kamloops  November 5 and wraps up in Drummondville November 15.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
