Red hot netminder stops Sting cold

Despite outshooting Saginaw 40-31, the Sarnia Sting lost 2-1 to Saginaw Thursday night.

Sting netminder Ethan Langevin, who was named the game's third star, said Arizona Coyotes prospect Ivan Prosvetov was outstanding.

"We ran into a tough goalie," said Langevin. "He's a big one and he made a lot of nice saves tonight and helped his team out a lot. Unfortunately, we were on the short end of the stick and couldn't pull the two points out."

Hugo Leufvenius extended his goal scoring streak to nine games.
