Legionnaires acquire puck-moving defenceman

The Sarnia Legionnaires have acquired defenceman Bryar Dittmer from the Brockville Tikis of the Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2.

The 17-year-old defenceman is originally from Chatham.

Last season in Brockville, he recorded 3 goals and 12 assists in 30 games.

He posted 4 goals and 9 assists in 22 games with the Lambton Jr. Sting Midget AAA team in 2017-18, and was held pointless in one game with the GOJHL's Strathroy Rockets.

The Legionnaires say they're excited to bring on board a mobile, puck-moving defenceman with Bryar’s experience.

Sarnia's main training camp is being held August 17 and 18 at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
