Sting to don new look uniforms this season (GALLERY)

The Sarnia Sting will have a new look to start the 2019-2020 Ontario Hockey league season.

As the league transitions to the CCM Quicklite jersey, the team is updating its home and away uniforms. They'll have a clean, modern, updated look while restoring the identity of the brand, matching the home and away uniform logos.

The Sting will don the new jerseys on opening night Friday September 20 against the Hamilton Bulldogs.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
