Sarnia hosting youth OBA Championships

Around 400 young ballplayers will be in Sarnia this weekend for the 9u and 8u 'AA' Provincial Championships.

The Sarnia Braves Baseball Club are hosting the tournament from Germain Park and Clearwater Park beginning at 9 a.m. Friday.

The field includes 31 teams from across Ontario, including one Sarnia team in each age group.

The championship games will go Sunday afternoon from Clearwater Park, weather permitting.
