Ottawa snaps Sting winning streak

Ottawa brought Sarnia's five game winning streak to an end Sunday afternoon.

The 67's (9-4-0) beat the Sting (5-8-0) 7-2 at the TD Place.

Benjamin Gaudreau gave up five goals on 12 shots on the net before giving way to Ethan Langevin, who made 10 saves in 30 minutes.

Sarnia's only two goals came from Jamieson Rees and Eric Hjorth.

For Ottawa, Joseph Garreffa had two goals and an assist in the win and Noel Hoefenmayer assisted on four goals.

The Sarnia Sting are off until Friday when they host the Flint Firebirds at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
