Lamour to play for Rayside-Balfour in NOJHL

Former Sarnia Sting goalie Cameron Lamour has signed on to play with the Rayside-Balfour Canadians of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey league (NOJHL).

He didn't play with the Sting this season after putting up a 4.99 GAA and .852 save percentage in 20 games with the team last year.

The 19-year-old Naughton, ON native also played parts of three seasons with the Saginaw Spirit.

He was acquired by the Sting from Saginaw for a fourth round draft pick in December 2018.

He played for Rayside-Balfour in 2016-17 where he posted a 7-13-0 record with a 3.57 GAA and .888 save percentage.

The Sting acquired veteran goaltender Jordan Kooy from the London Knights last week and still have three goalies on the roster.

Kooy is sharing the netminding with Ethan Langevin while rookie Ben Gaudreau is out west at the Under 17 Hockey Challenge.

Gaudreau is playing for Canada Black.
