Sting trade goaltender to North Bay

The Sarnia Sting announced Sunday that 19-year-old goaltender Cameron Lamour has been dealt to the North Bay Battalion.

In return the Sting receive a conditional 11th round selection in the 2022 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection.

“On behalf of the entire Sarnia Sting organization I would like to thank Cameron for his time in Sarnia and we wish him all the best in North Bay," General Manager Nick Sinclair said in a statement.

The Sting still have three goaltenders on the roster: the injured Jordan Kooy, Ethan Langevin, and rookie Ben Gaudreau.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
