Opening day ace for Sarnia area golfer

Sarnia-Lambton golfers were finally able to hit the links on Saturday after the province gave courses the green-light to reopen.

Despite the delayed start to the season, Paul Harvey at Sarnia Golf & Curling Club seemed to be in mid-season form after firing a hole-in-one on the seventh hole during his opening round.

Harvey recorded the course's first ace of the season from the white tees, 95 yards away, using an 8 iron while playing alongside Bob Kirk, Gary Taylor and Dr. Aidan Canning.
