Petrolia Flyers sign four rookies

The Petrolia Flyers have signed four players for the 2020-21 Provincial Junior Hockey League season.

The club has announced that Daniel Gibson, Cameron Hackett, Bailey Moffatt and Jake MacLean will be part of the team.

Gibson, Hackett, and Moffatt all played for the Petrolia Midget Oilers last season.

Gibson and Hackett each played three games with the Flyers this past season. Moffatt suited up in six games for the Mooretown Flags.

MacLean played for the Lambton Jr. Sting where he had a goal and three assists in 19 games.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
