Sting fall to Frontenacs in Kingston

The Frontenacs downed the Sarnia Sting 5-3 at the Leon's Centre in Kingston Friday night.

Linus Hemström, Jacob Holmes and Matthew Soto all scored for Kingston to take a 3-0 lead in the first period.

Sarnia would get on the board in the second frame thanks to Carson Hall who scored his first of the season.

Sandis Vilmanis and Cooper Way also scored once for Sarnia.

Sting goaltender Nick Surzycia stopped 11 of 15 shots and Sting goaltender Karsen Chartier stopped 11 of 12 shots.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
