Sting fall 4-1 to London in 402 battle

The London Knights (16-10-0-1) beat the visiting Sarnia Sting (10-17-0-0) 4-1 in Ontario Hockey League (OHL) action Tuesday night.

James Barr scored the lone Sarnia goal in the second period.

Sting goalie Nick Surzycia made 40 saves in net as the Sting were outshot by the Knights 44-23.

Jacob Julien, Jared Woolley, Max McCue and Easton Cowan all scored for London in the win.

The battle of the 402 is even at a win apiece so far this season.

The Sting are home to the Barrie Colts Wednesday night at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
