Sarnia fell under attack in Owen Sound Saturday night, pulling goaltender Nick Surzycia after a 5-goal onslaught.
Sting forward Andrew LeBlanc opened the game's scoring halfway through the first period, with his eighth goal of the season.
It didn't take long for Owen Sound to retaliate, as Jake Crawford scored less than four minutes later.
The Attack scored two more in quick succession, ending the first period 3-1.
Owen Sound continued scoring early in the second. The fifth, ultimately game-winning, goal is what ended Surzycia's game.
Logan Phillips came in as backup at 10:08 in the second period.
Daylen Moses closed out the period, scoring for the Sting with four seconds left on the clock.
Mitch Young and Easton Wainwright each had a goal in the third, leaving Sarnia one goal short. The final score was 5-4 for Owen Sound.
The end tally didn't reflect the shots on goal, as the Sting outshot the Attack 46-27.
Wainwright earned second star of the game with one goal and two assists.
Sarnia plays again Sunday afternoon, hosting the Oshawa Generals at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
