Sting come off losing skid against Windsor

The Sarnia Sting have come off a losing streak with an overtime win against the Windsor Spitfires.

Ryan Brown scored two goals and an assist to help lift the Sting to a 6-5 win.

Both goals came in the third period and the assist was in overtime for the game winning goal.

The Sting also outshot the Spitfires 34 to 21.

Two out of five of the Sting's goals came on a power play.

Easton Wainwright also got star of the game with one goal and two assists.

The Sarnia Sting arenow off until Wednesday when they will play host to the Peterborough Petes. You can catch the game on CHOK (103.9FM/1070AM).

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
