Sting left in the storm as Guelph takes the win

The Sarnia Sting lost on the road Friday to the Guelph Storm 3-2 in overtime.

The Sting were the ones to get things going with Kai Schwindt getting a goal 18 minutes into the first period.

Marko Sikic then got a second goal for the Sting 17 minutes into the second period. Both goals from the team were on a power play.

Guelph Storm's Jett Luchanko landed his 15th goal of the season scoring the winning goal four minutes into overtime.

Even though the Sting were taken by storm they outshot Guelph 24-21.
