Sean Doherty was then quick to follow suit getting two goals within 20 seconds of each other for a 3-0 lead in the first period.

In the second period is when the Erie Otters got their first goal but the Sting had a 4-1 lead.

Meanwhile, the three stars of the game all came from the Sting with Nick Surzycia as the first with 42 saves, the second was Sean Doherty with two goals and Tyson Doucette at the third with two goals.
