Sarnia sting lose fourth in a row to Kitchener Rangers

The Sarnia Sting continued their losing skid Friday against the Kitchener Rangers 7-3.

Rangers left wing Trent Swick started the scoring with a goal 12 minutes into the first period.

Carson Hall was quick to follow with a goal 27 seconds later tying the game 1-1.

Only two minutes into the second period Marko Sikic scored the Stings second goal.

Throughout the second and third period the Rangers scored six times leading the Sting 6-2.

The Sting got their last goal with just over one minute left in the game by Cooper Way.

Currently, Sarnia is 9th place for playoff contention with 48 points.

The Sting will be back at home Sunday afternoon against the North Bay Battalion. Puck drop is at 2:05 p.m. You can catch the game live on CHOK (1039FM/1070AM).
