Sting lose to Rangers in Kitchener

The Kitchener Rangers won their seventh in a row Tuesday night, defeating the visiting Sarnia Sting 6-1.

Tyson Doucette scored the lone goal for the Sting, who were outshot 30-22. Sting goalie Evan Maillet made 24 saves in net.

Sarnia holds a record of 6-5-1-3, currently positioned fourth in the Western Conference.

The Kitchener Rangers are now sitting on top of the OHL standings with 22 points.

The Sting continue their eight game road trip Friday in Oshawa.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
