Sarnia lose against Generals in Oshawa

The visiting Sarnia Sting were defeated by the Oshawa Generals in OHL action.

On Friday, the Sting lost 5-2 while at the Tribute Communities Centre.

The Generals started the scoring in the first period with getting three before Sarnia got on the board.

The Stings Easton Wainwright got the first goal for Sarnia of the evening 19 minutes into the first period.

Wainwright also got an assist when Daylen Moses scored 16 minutes in the second period.

The Sting were also outshot 36 to 19.

Sarnia continues their road trip Saturday in Brampton at the CAA Centre. Puck drop is at 4 p.m. You can catch the game live at CHOK (103.9 FM/ 1070 AM).

Sarnia police have recovered a stolen vehicle, believed to have been used during an industrial break-in on Scott Road earlier this week, burned and abandoned.
