Sting sign new forward

A new forward will soon be joining the Sarnia Sting.

The team announced on Saturday they had signed Liam Beamish to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.

So far this season, Beamish has played 20 games for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the BCHL. In those games, he’s scored four goals and added four assists for eight points.

Last season, Beamish had 27 goals and 29 assists in 46 games for the Fort Erie Meteors in the GOJHL.

“Liam is a 200ft player, has good instincts in all three zones, shows great compete and has habits necessary to be a very good player in this league,” said Dylan Seca, Sting General Manager.

Beamish is expected to make his Sting debut next week against the Flint Firebirds.
