The Sarnia Sting were embarrassed at home by the visiting London Knights.
The two teams faced off Sunday afternoon at Progressive Auto Sales Arena with London winning 9-0.
Noah Read opened the scoring less than 20 seconds into the game. Before the end of the period, Rene Van Bommel doubled London's lead.
The second period saw London score six times. Van Bommel scored twice for the hat-trick, Sam O'Reilly added two of his own, while Kasper Halttunen and Blake Montgomery scored the other two.
The only goal of the third period came from O'Reilly who also finished off his hat-trick.
This was the third time this season Sarnia has given up nine goals in a game. London was responsible for one of these games with the other done by Saginaw.

With the loss, Sarnia's record drops to 21-29-5-7, while London moves to 50-9-2-0.
The Sting's next game is on Wednesday, March 12, at home against the Erie Otters.
