Multi-day heat event continues.

What:
Daytime highs of 32 to 35 degrees Celsius, with humidex values of 37 to 40. 
Overnight lows of 20 to 23 degrees Celsius.

When:
Continuing through Tuesday or possibly Wednesday for some areas.

Additional information:
A cooler air mass is expected to arrive Tuesday night, bringing an end to this heat event. There is a possibility that eastern Ontario and the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area see hot and humid conditions into Wednesday.

Hot and humid air can also bring deteriorating air quality and can result in the Air Quality Health Index approaching the high risk category.

Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.

Expect a day of partly cloudy with clear spells

The Sarnia Imperials are back-to- back champions of the Ontario Power 5 Football League (OP5FL).The club hosted the Burlington Longhorns at Norm Perry Park Saturday and won 39-4.During the inaugural season of the OP5FL, they won the championship against the Sudbury Spartans. The Imperials were 8-0 being first in the league.Formally the club was a part of the Northern Football Conference from 2006 to 2023.In the clubs history, the Imperials appeared in three Grey Cup Championships winning twice in 1934 and 1936.
