Ben Pickell scored the lone goal for Sarnia in the Sting's 4-1 loss to the Spitfires in Windsor on Sunday.
The Sting, who were without captain Alessandro Di Iorio, Mitch Young and Hunter Solomon, were outshot 28 to 11.
With the win, Windsor reclaimed first place in the OHL Western Conference.
The road loss followed a 6-3 defeat to Flint on Saturday night for Sarnia.
The Sting will look for redemption on Wednesday night when they host the Firebirds at Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
