Sarnia Native Set To Make CFL Debut

Sarnia native Randy Beardy is expected to make his CFL debut tonight for the Ottawa Redblacks.

Beardy, a fifth round pick of the Redblacks, just wrapped up his senior season with the University of Windsor.

Ottawa will be resting ten of the starters in their game against Winnipeg, meaning Beardy is expected to get some playing time tonight on the offensive line.

You can listed to the full archived interview with Beardy and CHOK's Jake Jeffrey.

Kick off from TD Place Stadium is set for 7pm.

A graduate of Northern Collegiate, Beardy also played football in the SMAA and Sarnia Sturgeons organizations.
