Two Essex residents are facing charges after a search at a residence turned up $5,000 worth of drugs.
Essex County Ontario Provincial Police say on Thursday around 3pm, officers with the Community Drug Action Team, the Essex Detachment Street Crimes Unit and the Emergency Response Team search a home on Irwin St. in Essex.
Police say during the search, officers seized marijuana and cannabis resin.
Roger Babuik, 50, and Lynda Babuik, 52, have both been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. They will appear in a Windsor court on December 5.
