Construction Shuts Down Riverside

Now that Wyandotte St. E is open between Argyle and Lincoln Rd. in Windsor, another construction project will shut down Riverside Dr. E.

City crews will remove a set of railroad tracks just east of Devonshire Rd. crossing Riverside. They lead to the Hiram Walker storage tanks.

The work gets underway Monday morning and the project is expected to take a week.

City engineer Mario Sonego says the city will eventually remove tracks that cross Devonshire Rd. and Montreuil.
