Spitfires Retire Trio Of #14 Jerseys

During two home games this January, the Windsor Spitfires will retire three #14 jerseys belonging to Ed Jovanovski, Steve Ott and Adam Henrique.

Jovanovski's jersey will be raised to the rafters at the WFCU Centre during a game against the Kitchener Rangers on January 17. On January 25, jerseys belonging to Henrique and Ott will be given the honour during a home game against the Sarnia Sting.

Jovanovski played his rookie OHL season with the Spitfires in 1993-94. He was the Florida Panthers's number one pick in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft, but a work stoppage that season had him return to Windsor for another season.

Ott, who currently plays for the Dallas Stars, played three seasons in Windsor, and Henrique has played 205 games for the New Jersey Devils.
