Thefts From Parking Garage Investigated

The search is on for a suspect after someone broke into several vehicles at an underground parking garage in Windsor.

Police got a call about property damage at the garage in the 500-block of Riverside Dr. W around 8:30am Sunday. Some one smashed through a window reinforced with steel mesh. Once inside the garage, the suspect then smashed the windows of several vehicles.

Police want to hear from anyone with information at 519-255-6700 ext. 4350. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS), submit information on Facebook or at www.catchcrooks.com.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
