A 21-year-old man faces sexual assault charges after an incident in the 1100-block of University Ave. E in Windsor.
Police say a 16-year-old girl planned to meet an acquaintance in that area last night, but when she did, the man took her to the side of an apartment building and tried to remove her pants and touch her breasts.
The victim was able to get away from the suspect and hit redial on her phone which called a friend, who ended up calling 911.
Officers were finally able to intercept the pair at Tuscarora Ave. and Marentette Ave. around 10:50pm, and the man took off on foot.
Mohamed Efiye is charged with sexual assault and three counts of breach of probation.
