The 79-year-old passed away this morning after a battle with cancer.
Kingsville Mayor Nelson Santos says it is a great loss to the community. "His spirit, his commitment to our community, he was known as a great fighter for our town, for the residents on issues and we're really going to miss his demeanor, and his character."
