Storm Falls To Express

The Island Storm fell 100-85 in a close game to the Windsor Express at the WFCU Centre Thursday night.

The Express trailed behind the Storm by one point at the end of the first quarter, but quickly surpassed them in the second for a score of 43-36 by halftime.  The Express continued to lead the Storm in the third quarter, increasing their lead to 12 points, and increasing their lead again with three more points in the fourth to take the win.

Gary Gibson scored a game-high of 22 points for Windsor and Kevin Loiselle finished with 17 points and nine rebounds

The Express are back at the WFCU Centre on Saturday to take on the Mississauga Power at 7:30pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
