Theft During Home Invasion

Police are investigating after a home invasion ended with the theft of medication and cash.

The Windsor Police Service says on Friday around 3:45pm, two men entered a home in the 800-block of Elsmere Ave. as the homeowner was about the leave. One suspect grabbed a fanny pack from the victim, which contained prescription medication and cash, and then both men fled the home.

The homeowner was not injured in the incident.

The suspects are described as white males, 25-35 years old, both with a large build, one wearing a black jacket with a hood, the other a black jacket and toque.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4305.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
