Hit And Run Witnesses Needed

The officers investigating a hit and run on North Service Rd. E want to hear from anyone who witnessed the accident.

Police say a pedestrian was walking along the shoulder of the road in the 4300-block around 6:50pm Friday and was clipped by a dark Pontiac G5/G6. The driver didn't stop, but police found the passenger side mirror at the scene.

A gray Dodge Charger followed the Pontiac to Jefferson Blvd. where it turned northbound, and then westbound on Queen Elizabeth Dr.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
