Complaint Spurs Child Pornography Charges

A 53-year-old Windsor man faces a list of criminal harassment and child pornography charges after a 12-year-old girl told police she was followed by a suspicious man.

Police spoke with the girl, and her mother November 3 after a man in a vehicle approached her in the 5000-block of Raymond Ave.

Officers later arrested the man and charged him with criminal harassment, but when they searched his phone and tablet, they found photos and videos not of the victim, but another girl. They also found evidence of child pornography.

Police have identified the second girl.

Perry Maeckeler faces two counts of criminal harassment, a count of unlawfully accessing child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography.
