Attempted Robbery At Convenience Store

Police are investigating following an attempted robbery at a convenience store in the 3300-block of Howard Ave. in Windsor.

The Windsor Police Service says on Wednesday around 9pm, an unknown number of suspects entered Fay Mart and demanded cash. The suspect, or suspects, then fled empty handed. As it is early in the investigation, it is not known if the suspect(s) were armed.

No one was hurt during the incident.

Police say this attempted robbery is possibly linked to a robbery that occurred on Tuesday, at a Macs convenience store on Dougall Ave.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
