Fourth Robbery In Five Days

Police believe an armed robbery at a Tecumseh gas station is linked to a string of convenience store thefts in Windsor.

The Ontario Provincial Police says on Saturday around 7:40pm, a male and female dressed in fur-trimmed hoods entered a Petro Canada on Hwy. 3, one brandishing a knife. They demanded cash and fled the scene in a grey/silver GMC or Chevrolet SUV type vehicle.

Windsor detectives were also on scene at the Petro Canada. They're investigating three robberies in which video surveillance footage shows a man and a woman wearing fur trim coats and using a knife as a weapon.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact OPP at 519-723-2496.
