Windsor Police Seize Gun, Drugs

Two men have been charged after Windsor police recovered a loaded handgun and a variety of illegal drugs.

As part of an ongoing investigation, police located a vehicle Friday night linked to someone suspected of actively dealing drugs. Police say the two men inside were arrested.

A loaded 9mm semi-automatic pistol was seized from a man's waistband. A quantity of cocaine, meth and fentanyl patches were also discovered with a street value of $2,500.

Jason Sulatycki, 36, of Windsor has been charged with possession of a prohibited firearm, possession of a restricted weapon while prohibited and several drug-related charges.

Dylan Lafreniere, 22, of Windsor has also been charged with possession of cocaine.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
