Truck Fire Spreads To Homes

Damage to a pickup truck and two homes in west Windsor is about $50,000 after a fire.

The call came in just before 6:30am Thursday after flames erupted in the 3800-block of Matchette Rd.

The fire, which started in the truck and quickly spread to houses on either side of it, is listed as accidental. It melted siding on the homes.

Windsor police don't report any injuries.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
