Whalers Edge Spits

The Windsor Spitfires lost a close 4-3 game to the Plymouth Whalers, stretching their losing streak to five games.

During the game Wednesday night, the Spits struggled to work their way back up after the Whalers scored three goals in the first 20 minutes. Windsor scored one goal in every period, but a fourth goal by Plymouth in the second ensured the win for the Whalers.

Trevor Murphy, Markus Soberg and Slater Doggett each scored one goal for Windsor.

The Spitfires are back on the ice on Friday to once again take on Plymouth at 7:35pm.
