UPDATE: More Arsons In Walkerville

Damage is pegged at $10,000 in two intentionally set fires in the Walkerville area of Windsor.

Crews responded to a call in the 1100-block of Wyandotte St. E at 2am, and then another call in the 1200-block just minutes later.

Some discarded furniture was set on fire in both cases, but the flames extended into a garage at one scene, which is where most of the damage took place.

The incidents are under investigation, as they are just two among a number of arsons in Walkerville over the last month or so.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
