Leamington Santa Claus Parade Tonight

The Leamington Santa Claus parade will make its way up Erie St. tonight.

It begins at 6pm at Georgia St. and heads north along Erie to the fair grounds.

Chamber of Commerce General Manager Wendy Parsons says the parade will be about one-hour long.

"We have over 60 entries this year and two full bands. Lots of businesses have amazing floats. Each year they get better and better," she says.

When Santa reaches town hall he will light up the towns Christmas tree, and set off a five-minute fireworks display. Parsons says it should be visible in most of the uptown area.
