Toys Donated To Pediatrics Unit

Just in time for Christmas, a collection of toys has been donated to Windsor Regional Hospital's Pediatrics Unit.

The gifts were presented to hospital staff Monday by Blackburn Radio's Country 95.9 and 92.7 stations. The Real Canadian Superstore on Walker Rd. also donated some toys to the hospital.

With all of this giving top of mind for many, Windsor Regional Hospital is also reminding the public that gifts donated to the pediatrics unit must first be inspected.

Anyone interested in donating should call the hospital's public affairs department. You can also find a copy of the hospital's wish list on its website. “In an era of heightened infection control concerns, it is vitally important that WRH assess and/or inspect any donation to ensure patient health is not at risk,” says Windsor Regional Hospital President and CEO David Musyj.
