Saying Thanks To Taxi Drivers

The Waterfront Hotel in downtown Windsor is deeming this Taxi Appreciation Day.

Senior Sales Manager Elizabeth Hernandez and her team had hot beverages and cookies available in the front lobby of the Riverside Dr. hotel this morning.

"To the taxi drivers, who are the first to greet our guests in the city, coming off the train or at the airport, we just want to say thank you for being ambassadors of the city."

It's the second year in a row that the Waterfront Hotel is honouring the city's cab drivers during the holiday season.
